We are looking for a suitable, qualified consultant with a criminal justice/legal reform background to review Sierra Leone’s 2008 National Drug Control Act and associated policies in line with evidence-based drug control response that reduces the harm of illicit drug use (and drug control policy) on minor nonviolent drug offenders.
The consultant will be required to liaise with WADPN – Sierra Leone Chapter and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to analyse Sierra Leone’s current drug control approach, propose a more effective drug control response that seeks to promote and protect the human rights of minor nonviolent drug offenders, address public health concerns, and guarantees criminal justice reform.
